What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is a non-invasive complementary health therapy that can be effective in promoting deep relaxation and wellbeing; reducing stress in your life can be key in optimising good health and building resilience.

Reflexology is a touch therapy that is based on the theory that all organs, glands, muscles, bones and body systems are represented by reflex points on the feet, lower legs and hands.
When specific pressure techniques are applied to these nerve reflexes, circulation is improved to the relevant areas and the body can begin its own healing process.

Any imbalances in the body systems can be identified and worked on in order that the physical, hormonal to emotional blockages can be released.

Reflexology is a holistic therapy which treats the whole person, allowing the body to fall into a deeply relaxed state and generate a feeling of improved well-being.

Reflexology has been found to be effective in:
Relieving pain
Reducing stress and tension
Generally restoring the body to a better state of harmony, health and homeostasis.
Is Reflexology suitable for me?
Reflexology is a therapy which can be received by anyone of any age, from newborn babies to those receiving end of life care, and everyone in between.
What happens in a reflexology treatment?
For your first treatment you will be asked to fill in a consultation form of your full medical history, and you will be asked to sign a consent form for treatment. This information will be kept confidential. Once completed, you will be asked to take off shoes and socks. I will help you get comfortable on the reclining reflexology chair.
I use organic reflexology balms during the treatment, if you do have any skin allergies please let me know.
Is reflexology safe in Pregnancy?
Yes most definitely. I am a qualified maternity and fertility reflexologist.
Can babies and children have reflexology?
Babies, toddlers, children, and teenagers respond well to reflexology; their meridians are strong which makes them more responsive to reflexology.
How will I feel after my treatment?
Reflexology balances the body and promotes self- healing.
Most people feel the relaxing benefit during and after their treatment.
Depending on the issue, it may take a few treatments to notice the improvement in your well-being.
What should I wear?
Loose and comfortable clothing is recommended. You will be reclined in a reflexology chair.

Avoid caffeine and alcohol as these are stimulants and will reduce the effectiveness of the treatment.
